Arlie Forrester

My family joined the BMS community in 2017 after relocating here from New York City where our Montessori journey began. I’m deeply passionate about Montessori education and confident that BMS is fostering both academic excellence and the broader development of our children - nurturing their curiosity, creativity, and  sense of connection to others and the world around them.

Over the years, I’ve built strong relationships within the BMS community through roles such as class parent representative, supporting the P&F, attending school events, and informal after-school gatherings. BMS has become a second home for our family - one that, like any home, must be carefully maintained and thoughtfully evolved to meet the future.

I joined the board in 2024 with a particular interest in the school’s longterm strategic direction. I’m committed to strengthening stakeholder engagement and supporting informed, community-aligned decision-making. 

With a background in teaching, I bring an educational perspective to board discussions and am proud to work alongside a diverse, skilled group of directors who bring energy, insight, and courage to conversations about Montessori strategy.
