Extracurricular Music

“It is movement that interests the child in music, and it is by movement that the very tiny child can arrive at understanding music with considerable delicacy.” Dr Maria Montessori

Music is a very important part of the culture here at Brisbane Montessori School.

Each term from Week 1 to 9 students have the opportunity to take part in a range of fun extracurricular music activities that supplements their in class learning and gives them a creative outlet. Out extracurricular music students often perform at events such as Whole School Assembly and local fundraisers on behalf of the school.
