David Perkins

David Perkins brings more than 20 years of experience across business operations, technology, product development, and marketing. He is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Antero Software, where he leads operational excellence, strategic growth, and organisational performance.

His career has included co founding and serving as Managing Director of Klyp, a digital agency he grew to a 30 person team across two major Australian markets, as well as holding Director level roles at Liquid Interactive, where he oversaw operational delivery, data and analytics, and the development of strategic organisational frameworks.

Appointed to the Brisbane Montessori School Board in 2024, David contributes a strong foundation of professional qualifications that support his role in governance. He serves on the Policy/GRAS Committee and the Marketing and Communications Sub Committee, applying his experience to strengthen governance practices, enhance communication, and support the school’s continued growth.

David holds a Graduate Certificate in Management (Workplace Transformations) from Swinburne Online, a Diploma in Multimedia and Certificate IV in IT from QANTM College, and industry certifications including Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) and Cyber Security for Non Cyber Professionals (QUTeX). These qualifications reinforce his capability in organisational management, technology oversight, entrepreneurship, strategic planning, and risk awareness; key areas that inform his contribution to the Board.

David and his family have been part of the Brisbane Montessori School community since 2015. With two children attending the school, he has seen firsthand how the Montessori approach nurtures independence, curiosity, and a deep sense of capability.

This experience has shaped his belief in the value of Montessori education and inspires his commitment to supporting the school’s long term vision and the wellbeing of its thriving community.
