Neran Maddugoda

Neran Maddugoda is a seasoned operations and supply chain leader with over 15 years of corporate experience spanning sales, marketing, operations management, and extensive integrated business planning. He currently serves as Supply Chain & Operations Manager at v2food, where he leads complex project delivery, cross-functional operations, and strategic planning within a rapidly evolving industry.

Neran joined the Brisbane Montessori School Board in 2024, bringing a unique combination of corporate leadership, financial acumen, and deep Montessori heritage. He contributes actively to governance through his role on the Montessori Excellence Sub-Committee, where his expertise in project management and organisational systems supports the school’s commitment to continuous improvement and high-quality Montessori practice.

A lifelong member of the Montessori community, Neran was immersed in Montessori philosophy from an early age. His mother was a Montessori educator for more than 40 years, and his parents operated a Montessori centre where he assisted with marketing and staffing. Having attended Montessori as a child himself, he has continued to deepen his understanding through formal training, completing the AMI Assistants to Infancy Certificate (0 - 3) and currently undertaking the AMI 0 - 3 Diploma.

Neran holds a Bachelor of Business/Arts and brings a governance perspective shaped by both professional leadership and lived Montessori experience.

His strengths in operations, strategic oversight, and project management enhance the Board’s capacity to steward the school’s long-term vision and ongoing growth.
