Beyond the Classroom: A Middle School Journey to Canberra

From the halls of Parliament to the wonders of Questacon, our Middle School students spent five days exploring, questioning, and connecting with the world beyond school.

Their October journey brought Australian history, democracy, science, art and culture into focus, offering opportunities to see familiar subjects from an entirely new perspective.

And some of the most meaningful moments happened along the way - in conversations shared on the bus, over meals, through new challenges, and in the friendships that grew stronger with each day.

At Brisbane Montessori School, our Middle School Canberra trip takes place every three years, giving each cohort the chance to engage with Australia’s capital during an important stage of their adolescence.

Five days of new experiences, growing confidence, and memories made together… a journey that will stay with them long after the bags are unpacked.
