Journey of Humans Through Time

On Friday evening, our Middle School students stepped into history, immersing themselves in the Journey of Humans Through Time through a unique camp out experience on the school grounds.

Bringing their studies to life, students explored how people lived from early times to the modern era, experiencing firsthand the differences in shelter, food, and daily comforts. This is Montessori learning at its most powerful, where imagination, independence, and real-world application come together.

Throughout the camp, students engaged in hands-on skill-building by preparing and cooking meals, working collaboratively, and learning to adapt to their environment. Our youngest learners cooked over a campfire under staff guidance, building confidence and practical life skills.

Designed to challenge and inspire, this experience supports students’ academic, physical, social, and emotional growth by empowering them to become capable, resilient, and independent individuals... with some memorable moments that will remain in their hearts for years to come.
