Movement

MITC Tuesday, 09 June 2026

Toddlers are naturally driven to move, and every movement helps strengthen their developing motor skills.

In our Montessori Independent Toddler Community (MITC), children have daily opportunities to build their motor coordination through purposeful activities. Climbing, balancing, carrying, walking, and running support strength, balance, and body control, while pouring, grasping, transferring objects, drawing, painting, and using utensils refine hand-eye coordination and dexterity.

As children practise and master these movements, they develop confidence, independence, coordination, and greater control of their bodies.

Join us for a warm and welcoming 'Stay and Play' experience in our authentic Montessori environment, thoughtfully prepared for children aged 12 months to 3 years.

This special experience allows families to see firsthand how Montessori nurtures independence, confidence, and a love of learning from the earliest years. Our Early Years program lays the foundation for a seamless Montessori educational pathway, supporting each child's development from birth through to age 18.

These sessions are FREE, and spaces are limited, so booking is essential;

Sunday 7 June | 9.00am – 11.00am (fully booked)
Saturday 20 June | 9.00am – 11.00am
