On Wednesday in Children’s House, Working With Your Child (WWYC) offered a special opportunity for children to ‘show and tell’ their classroom experience. As this environment is usually off-limits to parents, children are often excited to guide their families through the space, proudly pointing out different areas of the room and sharing the work that is meaningful to them.
During the session, children delight in demonstrating their favourite activities which may not always be the activities parents expect to see. Teachers thoughtfully support children in preparing for the event, offering gentle guidance and helping them choose work they feel confident and proud to share.
Our Children’s House classrooms are co-educational and multi-aged, fostering strong social cohesion, mutual respect, and a rich collaborative learning environment. Within the important three-year work cycle, children are given the time and continuity to develop skills, explore concepts deeply, integrate their learning, and achieve mastery before moving on to the next stage of their educational journey.
Our early years program lays the foundation for a seamless Montessori education from birth through to 18 years. To learn more about our learning curriculum, please click here.
