'Stay and Play' Montessori Independent Toddler Community (MITC)

Our Montessori Independent Toddler Community (MITC) is designed for children as they take their first steps toward independence. In our carefully prepared environment, toddlers engage in hands-on learning experiences that encourage curiosity, movement, exploration, and self-confidence.

At this remarkable stage of development, children are eager to discover the world around them. Through meaningful activities and freedom within clear and respectful boundaries, toddlers are encouraged to make choices, develop practical life skills, and build confidence in their own abilities.

Daily routines and purposeful activities help nurture concentration, coordination, social connection, and respect for both others and the environment - all while allowing each child to develop naturally at their own pace. Through movement, sensory exploration, and repetition, children develop a strong foundation for lifelong learning, independence, and emotional wellbeing.

Join us for a warm and welcoming 'Stay and Play' experience in our authentic Montessori environment, thoughtfully prepared for children aged 12 months to 3 years.

Spend time together in our Montessori Independent Toddler Community (MITC), where your child can explore, discover and learn through purposeful, hands-on experiences in a calm and carefully prepared setting.

This special experience offers families the opportunity to observe how Montessori nurtures independence, confidence and a love of learning from the earliest years. Our early years program also provides the foundation for a seamless Montessori journey from birth to 18 years within our connected campus community.

These sessions are FREE, and spaces are limited so booking is essential.

To sign up, please click here.

To ensure the program aligns with our Montessori pedagogy, attendance is limited to you and your toddler/s only.

If you have any questions before your visit, our Enrolments Officer would be happy to assist. Please call (07) 3327 0600 or alternatively email enrolments@bms.qld.edu.au
